Cheap dinner near Lincoln Center?

Looking to get a quick dinner before a movie. Nothing too fancy, just taking a friend.

Sushi a go-go. Service is spotty, but very good sushi.

You could eat at Whole Foods in the Time Warner Center.

Ollie's, at Broadway and 68th, is a viable option. A fast-paced, high volume Chinese that kind of "samples" the authentic fare available downtown. Quality is hit-and-miss, service is brusque, but ultimately I think it's a good option for a casual, convenient bite.

No it isn't. Ollies is really bad.

Your best bet might be to head down 9th Avenue (between 57th and 42nd). You can search the board because there's been lots of stuff on 9th Ave lately.
