BBQ Catering

  • 8

I am having a party in September and i am having about 75-100 guests. I am a bbq nut and guru but i don't live in the bay area right now. Do any of you know of any "real" bbq places that cater, that would be worth using? Please let me know what you think.

  1. My favorite BBQ places are Memphis Minnies and Everett and Jones. Both have catering menus, but I don't know if they do onsite catering.

    1. I got takeout from T-Rex for a big party. It was great. Don't think they do actual catering.

Since this got bumped, I'll withdraw my recommendation for T-Rex. It's not what it was.

I'm not sure Stephanie Perry is still catering:

      2. Smoke in Berkeley does catering (or at least pick-up, not sure about onsite).

        1. Cecil's Smokin' BBQ is not a brick and mortar restaurant, but a serious professional BBQ competition team and their BBQ blows the doors off of any "real" bbq place in the bay area. They also prefer to cook on site.

They are out of San Jose, but will travel for a party of that size.

The request is from 2007, it got bumped by a spammer.
