Sweatman's BBQ

Anybody know whether Sweatman's will be open this Friday, July 27? I know they usually shut down for a while in the summer.

    That was just discussed a short time ago. Nobody really knows and it seems you can't call them.

      I believe I'd have to go on and phone the local post office or fire department or sheriff's office. They'll know.

        Traditionally, they close the last week in July and the first three weeks of August. I wrote a story about them several years ago and that's the schedule they recited from heart.
