Cakes/Desserts in Woodland Hills Area

I'm going to a friend's for dinner, and would like to bring a small cake or dessert item. Any recommendations on good places in the area? There will just be three of us, so I don't want to get anything too big.

I used to go to Porto's in Burbank, and that was delicious, but it's a little too far. Anything between Calabasas and Woodland Hills would be great, otherwise, I'll probably opt for the Cheesecake Factory on Canoga.

I second Viktor Benes' in Gelson's

Edie's bakery on Sherman way in canoga park has good cakes.

Bea's in Tarzana/Woodland Hills is good, too.

there's a gelson's in calabasas off of mulholland where I usually get my cakes. there's also a bakery a bit east of Topanga on Ventura whose cakes look good also .... Le Bon Bakery 21928 Ventura Blvd, Woodland Hills - [phone]. I have never ordered from there though.
there's also a whole foods at Canoga and Ventura. I just got a fruit tarte from there.
