Wondering if there is anywhere in San Fransisco that serves soup dumplings similar to the ones at Joes Shanghai in NYC?

While Im at it, can anyone send me links to board comments on the current chowhound faves in SF? I am a vancouver based CH'er coming to town for a few days.

Much thanks.

There are many topics on Shanghai soup dumpling aka xiao long bao or XLB:

It's going to be tough finding the style of soup dumplings served at Joe Shanghai, which many judge not to be "authentic". If you are looking for the more traditional Shanghai soup dumpling (XLB), there are a number of Shanghainese restaurants in the Bay Area that serves a fine one (or 6, or 12).
