Hey there! Just wanted to give a heads up about Honeydoo. I jsut got an e-mail from them since I signed up for the notifications that says they're going to be at the North Beach Jazz Festival this coming weekend (July 28-29, 2007 from 11am to 6pm) at Washington Square Park.

I'm not sure what kind of yogurt this is but there has been some speculation on this board that it's going to be Pinkberry-like. Hope it's good. :)

Hi Skyy,

THey didn't give me a phone number but I did talk to them when I was at the festival. The lady told me that they'll open in September. I forgot the exact date but it might have been Sept. 9 or something to that extent.

Anyway, on to the frozen yogurt...it was pinkberry like. Since the only other place around here is Yogurt Bar, I'm going to do a rough comparison. Granted, Honeydoo only had plain yogurt at the festival, but it was good and way better than Yogurt Bar. The yogurt did not have the sour cream taste or the iciness that Yogurt Bar had. I'm hoping that they will come out with more flavors when they finally open their store. It was $5 for a serving of yogurt with three toppings and I think the price will remain the same at the store. Not too bad...cheaper than Yogurt Bar and they didn't skimp out on the toppings like Yogurt Bar.

Also, they were really nice. I said that I signed up for their e-mail notification and the lady, I believe she's the owner, gave me a coupon for a free yogurt with toppings. Pretty sweet deal.
