Elite's elite dim sum

I won't write a long review but I've had dim sum here twice in the last week because I am HOOKED on their Fried Shrimp Dumplings and especially their Snow Bun with Almond Flavor. Get thee to this place and try this dessert. Mmm mmm mmm.

Their Elite BBQ Pork Bun and are other items like the Shrimp Har Gow, Pork Shui-Mai, and their Shark Fin Dumpling in Supreme Soup Stock are also tasty. They sometimes go around offering "open items" so I tried their calamari... not impressive.

  1. I agree, snooze button! As a total dim sum experience, Elite is in my current top three for nice space, friendly service, clean and good to very good to really, really good dim sum that is nicely served. It just seems like Elite serves a more refined dim sum. Yes, it is just a little bit more costly than most, but I think you can taste the difference as worth the price to me.

    1. We were there for lunch yesterday...didn't want to wait so took the table out on the was very warm...and a few flies were competing for our food....

That said, the dim sum was actually very good. I'd have to go back to try the desserts as I couldn't figure out what they were! It's funny that the Chinese menu has such fancy, poetic names that I have to refer to their English menu to see what is exactly being served.

      1. is it just order off th menu or do they have carts?

Elite is primarily an order-off-the-menu place; they do, however, have quite a few trays being passed around...almost like carts!
