Whist experience (not good)
Our friends had a dinner reservation for 3 people at 7 pm at Whist last Thursday. They asked me and my husband to join them, but when they called Whist and asked to increase their reservation for 3 to 5 people they were told they couldn't do it until 9 pm. We didn't go and when our friends arrived at Whist at 7 they discovered many many empty tables, both inside and on the patio. And the tables were still empty when they left at 8:30! There was no reason they couldn't have accommodated a party of 5 at 7 pm. Why is this restaurant trying to discourage business? Has anybody else had this kind of experience at Whist?
