Quebec City Lounge Bar?
New Yorker coming to Quebec City for the first time. I'm an artist in my late thirties and want to find a comfortable bar to listen to good chill music, not looking for a singles scene. Somewhere for a nightcap. Any suggestions on a good wine bar or a cocktail bar?

There ya go...........Enjoy!! Great Hotel, old but great..small rooms but have a wonderful dining room too...with a great view...right near the bar actually..You will love it!! Great food in the dining room as well...
Don't forget to to go to Le Cochon Dange..(name not exact) great fries there & Pate too..Mmmmmmmm good-
re: flipkeat
The name is Cochon Dingue. ;-)
They have good breakfasts...but it's very generic food to me. The restaurant at the Château Frontenac is worth trying, since its chef, Jean Soulard, is one of the greatest chefs in the province. However, I must say that the Château itself is such a tourist trap...very little comfort for too much money!-

For lunch the quebec meat pie is always memorable..give it a try for lunch perhaps?
For a casual steak dinner on charcol grill I'd pick the Charbon Steakhouse...
