Quebec City Lounge Bar?

New Yorker coming to Quebec City for the first time. I'm an artist in my late thirties and want to find a comfortable bar to listen to good chill music, not looking for a singles scene. Somewhere for a nightcap. Any suggestions on a good wine bar or a cocktail bar?

The name is Cochon Dingue. ;-)
They have good breakfasts...but it's very generic food to me. The restaurant at the Château Frontenac is worth trying, since its chef, Jean Soulard, is one of the greatest chefs in the province. However, I must say that the Château itself is such a tourist trap...very little comfort for too much money!

Thanks for the correction Frenchie!! That's it..Cochon Dingue..yaya..Right on the street..I know it's generic but the fries are good as well as the pate the last time I ate there..not too long ago. Just for some lunch or breakfast as you suggested!

Thanks for the heads up on Chateau Frontenac. I actually got a great deal due to possible obstruction of the view due to scaffolding. Practically half off! I don't think that I would have stayed there if it weren't for that :-)
Any good ethnic food in Q-town?

For lunch the quebec meat pie is always memorable..give it a try for lunch perhaps?
For a casual steak dinner on charcol grill I'd pick the Charbon Steakhouse...
These aren't ethnicy but they are also good!!

Try Boudoir, in St-Roch, or La Société Cigare on Grande Allée. Enjoy!
