This is a show FN ran a few years back, and one of my favorites of all time...I don't know why it had such a short run. It gave a look into the kitchen deeper than any show they've put on and it kept me glued to the screen. That being said it looks like they're only running this show as filler in the 130am pst/430am est time slot on Friday nights. The N9ne profile last night was great, but the best one they did was the profile on Trio which I found mesmerizing and pure magic.

I really like this show also. The full half-hour focused on one restaurant (ok, 22 mins or so) allows some depth and character to emerge. I liked the one featuring Mark Peel and Campanile restaurant in Los Angeles. Very much a departure from the usual Food Network style -- almost reminds me of a good PBS food show.

Agreed. I liked the show on Campanile too. Its understated, intelligent, lets the subject do the talking, so of course it isn't right for the new and unimproved Food Network.
