Radicchio's Ridgewood

I was taken to dinner here last night. It was my first time and had mixed feelings. My appetizer was excellent, my entree was disappointing, but I may have just chosen poorly from the specials. I'd be curious to hear what others think.

I, too don't know what the attraction is for this place. I've tried it a couple of times out of desperation, but was unimpressed each time. Won't do it again!

Moma23 -- glad to finally hear someone else not "get it" about everyone's love for Sakura Bona!

Radicchio is for some reason an un-explained attraction. Very over priced $25. for penne vodka & chicken marsala. Specials recited with no prices. Expect your bill to be charged $35. for a special. $14. for a few greenbeans & 1 slice mozzarella for an appetizer. Same as Andrea's in Waldwick-overpriced, un-inspired & over-hyped. Nothing inspired about the place at all-although it is a pretty setting. Far better choices in Ridgewood. Bazzini's on Oak st. blows it away on food & price for Italian-American. Want sushi-stay out of down town-go to Wasabi . Sakura Bana is a joke.

I have eaten at Radicchio's years ago but did not like it and will never go back.
