Sietsema just reported that Trabocchi is leaving Maestro, and relocating to NYC. His last day at Maestro will be August 18.
I had a fabulous meal there last November -- like I said, go now!

Ritz-Carlton is owned by Marriott, and they're local. They understand the "following" that Maestro has. I would bet they bring in a top-notch chef to replace him.

Well, that just sucks. Maestro is the best restaurant we've got... and it is less than 15 minutes from my house in Bethesda.
Looks like CityZen will take the reigns...
