Bin 189 Lake Arrowhead Resort

This restaurant has a beautiful bar and lounge area in front of a big stone fireplace which I'm sure will be fabulous for drinks on a winter evening. There is also a neat private dining room surrounded by a floor to ceiling wine rack. The restaurant itself is nice, though our table had bad feng shui in the middle of the room. The service was very attentive, but lacked real 4 star polish. The menu looked interesting but the food was totally disappointing and not inexpensive. $30ish. We shared a caesar salad. I had halibut that was basically served on black bean dip. My hubby had the buffalo rib eye which was covered with something that looked like mushroom soup. The real standout was an amazing wine list, pages and pages. Wines by the glass were lesser cellars. Though we didn't indulge, the have fondue for dessert where you select the type of chocolate, served with a lovely fruit plate. The table next to us had several desserts and they did look great. The lodge itself is lovely and they have what looks to be a great spa. If you're going to Arrowhead, I'd stay here and drink myself silly.

i LOVE this place!!! i've just had wine and appetizers, but the food was great! and the wine was great too....bottles and glasses for all different price ranges.
i love the look and feel of the bar...beautiful upscale lodge.
i want to stay there next time...they have some really great deals on rates, including massages, etc.

When up in Arrowhead, I also like to dine at The Nest.
