Downtown Steak dinner

Taking my brother out on Saturday, was thinking Downtown (tho I'm open to Pasadena). He loves a good steak, any suggestions for the best steak in these parts?

morton's is the place. they are all about consistancy. we used this offer before, it's awesome. a lot of food and if you get a cool waiter they do let you substitute certain things without any charge.

Nic & Steff's is my personal favorite. But it will not be $99, that's for sure. Best sides of any restaurant and my favorite cesar of all time. Also best onion rings I have ever had if they have any left.

Morton's Went last friday and started off with the Blue point oysters , so good.

LA PRIME went last month for the 1st time and for sure not my last trip, great views of DT too

NIC N Stef's Aged steaks, good drinks aged crowd too.

Palm's.........last trip here the steak was cooked perfectly inside burnt outside.

Taylor's best deal in town and Friday and I think saturday nights they have a fantastic Lobster bisque, bone in NY is a great choice and perfect for sunday morning steaks and eggs
PDC..I prefer the santa monica location and only visit the DT branch for breakfast. We had for a lack of a better word a SCARY incident last time at PDC DT.

Pacific Dining Car is hands down the best in Downtown LA!!!! and I am a big Morton's fan, but due to my bad experience in Burbank I have never gone back to any of them...

Go to the dining car, and you will LOVE IT!

If that $99 Mortons deal is still available it is indeed killer -- app, salad, filets, sides, desserts -- if you add it all up it is a real value so long as a filet is what you both like and they treat you as well. be sure to tip according to the higher, nondiscounted price if the service deserves it.

You have lot's of good choices. Arnie Morton's, L.A Prime at the Bonaventure Hotel, Nic & Stef's, The Palm and Pacific Dining Car. We like Arnie's but you won't go wrong at any of them.
