I'm a fan of El Gran Castillo de Jagua, my "neighborhood melting pot" on Flatbush & 7th, right up from the subway.

Jagua sounds pretty good, not too far a walk from us either. There was another little hole in the wall near there with a small outside patio that I haven't been able to find again. They may have closed, that was a few years ago. I like El Papasito's in Manhattan on 52nd Street betw 8th and 9th ave. Cute little place with tasty food.

El Enquentro is pretty good. You really need to go to Washington Heights though. For Cuban.... I know a Cuban place.... Ah yeah! Ok, it's tiny, I forgot the name, but it's on 86th St right after the highway underpass. Across from the Blockbuster. Literally across from the PC Richards or whatever it is and the crap furniture store. She's got some good chicken and sandwiches. Cheap too.
