My question - I notice that shrimp burgers are on their menu. Anybody ever had them? I'm thinking along the lines of El's Drive Inn in Morehead City or Big Oak in Salter Path. It is not like the shrimp burgers you find at El's or Big Oak - it is ground/chopped shrimp made into a patty. I had one with slaw and cocktail sauce - not bad but definitely not in the league of El's and Big Oak. Sadly - I think I'll stick with their cheeseburgers. It's not as good as the ones from the Crystal Coast, but it'll do in a pinch if you have a craving. They even have a Big Oak license plate displayed above their fountain drink machine.
