I think it's called the Wine Shop on 24th, believe it or not. klsalas is right that they're open pretty sporadically and I have to say that the owner doesn't seem to care a whole about business. I went in a few times when it first opened, trying to patronize a local business, bought a few bottles on a cople of different occasions and he seemed like he couldn't have cared less if I ever came back. So I didn't. Come back, I mean.

Huh- we had a pretty different experience there; the owner has been very friendly and even introduced us to other people sitting at the bar.

I do agree that the hours are sometimes not what is posted. They are generally not open Sun/Mon nights as far as I can tell.

Yes, several times. It's a nice small place, I'm no wine expert but they have a good selection and the owner seems to know what he's talking about. The set-up makes it easy to chat with other people sitting at the bar.

It has been well reviewed in the last year. The only thing I think you will find difficult is that the shop is seemingly not always open during posted hours. It was previously a wine shop but they phased most of their retail selection out when they opened the bar. Nonetheless it is a charming space.
