Small Wedding Reception Venue

Help! My friend, who has no taste buds (sorry, but true), is getting married in Kansas City, MO. It's a casual and family orientated event. I'm trying to help by making suggestions about possible food venues. WHAT ARE SOME GREAT PLACES TO EAT IN THE KCMO AREA THAT WOULD BE GOOD FOR PRIVATE DINING FOR UP TO 45 PEOPLE??? It doesn't have to be all fancy, just basic and good food (the future in laws suggested Lambert's??). Really, they just need a place with a private dining option. Thanks!

THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT! WE FOUND MANNY'S AND DOS HOMBRES AS OPTIONS FOR THEIR CASUAL RECEPTION.

V's Italian Restaurant in Independence may be a good choice. Can't remember if they have private rooms, but they are a good, long-established place that I think would be willing to work with you.

The original Jack Stack in Martin City has a room that would work, plus you will get good food.

Probably need to mention KC in the topic heading. Lamberts is not close to KC.
Maybe Strouds. We just had a small reception in Lawrence, KS (about 30 minutes from KC) at the Stone Canyon Inn.
