Mozza - Closest thing to pepperoni pizza?

I'm going to Mozza for lunch next week with a non-chowhound who loves his pepperoni pizza. Which pizza on the menu is the closest -- yet undoubtedly far superior -- to that somewhat boring albeit tasty classic?

The salumi pizza is good. But the one I always get and is ridiculously awesome is the tomato, oregano and olive oil pizza. It's cheeseless. Tell them to add the Fresno chiles on it and you've got the best pizza ever made.

I agree that both the sausage and the salumi pizza would leave your friend satisfied, and perhaps nudge him/her into a high level of pizza at the same time.

See if you can get the person to try the squash blossom pizza! That would be an accomplishment. Failing that, at least get the appetizer.

Oregano salame...or whatever the salami pizza seems to be.

          Yes indeed.
The oregano salumi is great. Ditto the fennel salumi.
However the closest to traditional pepperoni pizza is the paprika salumi and it is awesome.

The fennel salami with leeks and green onions is so good.

I seem to recall a wonderful post about Mozza by a first-timer. It was wonderfully written, though difficult to tell how much was tongue-in-cheek and how much was serious, though I tend to think more the former than the latter. Anyway, she and her ... boyfriend? ... went and I seem to recall that the "normal" pizza they ordered was a sausage and onion concoction and that they were happy with it. (I just went and looked for that post and can't find it - it was one that the mods had to keep removing comments on, 'cause folks weren't sure how to take the writing - does anyone else remember it?)

I've been to Mozza and had the sausage pizza - it was very good!

I remeber the post. She wrote a couple about some higher end restaurants and poked a little fun at this boards occasional pretentiousness.
                Brilliant!
