Gloria's also serves a decent selection of Salvadoran food--the only Salvadoran place I know about on the westside--and as such is quite welcome. Here's a nice thread from earlier this year with more complimentary posts:

I used to go there all the time with friends who lived in the area. Agree that it is a solid neighborhood place. I wouldn't make a special trip across town for it, but it is a great inexpensive, family-run Mexican place if you are in the area. I usually got one of their chicken burritos...the one that has the most stuff in it. But everything I've gotten there has been good, and yes, Gloria and her family are very warm and inviting people.
Gloria's is terrific. I am a particular fan of the seafood cocktail--octopus, shrimp, scallops all perfectly cooked in a spicy red sauce with generous slices of avocado, all served in a large seafood cocktail glass. It makes a very satisfying light lunch. Also excellent is the bistec encebollados, a beef/onion dish. And Gloria (the cook) and her son (the waiter) and warm and welcoming people. It's just a terrific neighborhood joint.
