Any recommendations for restaurants in Ocean City, NJ? I'll be there for a week in August and was wondering if any local joints stand above the usual sea shack restaurants.

    Dave,
We just returned for our 4th annual visit to Ocean City. We really like The Varsity Inn. They are located on 8th Street between Wesley and Ocean and they just renovated. It is very casual, but the food is OUTSTANDING. If you are into it, they have their famous Jersey Tomato soup that is literally out of this world, but everything there is good and affordable. Also Cousins is not bad for italian.

We're going to be in Ocean City this weekend. Any more suggestions for good chow?!? My 6 yr old son and I will be visiting friends with 2 small children, so moderately priced suggestions would be appreciated. (I've never been to Ocean City so have no idea what to expect.)
