Besides Belgo, where in London can I satisfy a craving for Belgian-style frites, preferably somewhere with a variety of sauces to choose from. is there anywhere like Pommes Frites in NY's East Village?

There's another small chain, besides Belgo/Bierodrome, called Abbaye. I've tried the one on Charterhouse Street and it was ok, about as good as Belgo TBH but worth it for an alt. Had a selection of sauces. Not sure what else there might be in London.
