Lamb & Jaffy in Greenpoint
a Friend just recomended that we give it a try, most of the web stuff i can find on it is approx three years old. Does anyone have any current thoughts on the food? the ambience? Are the prices okay? do they have a liquor license?
Thank you!

i have to agree with the previous poster - Lamb & Jaffe's is very slow on the service but the food is delicious. If you're in the mood to just sit, chill and drink your own BYOB wine it's very nice experience. If you're in a hurry then try somewhere else.
Also, they have a garden which is why is probably why it appeared empty to you driving by - they garden was packed and the inside was empty last time I was there a couple of weeks ago. They're usually fairly busy.

Haven't been in ages....but a friend of mine went recently, he said that the service was really slow, took about an hour to get the first dish. He did say that the food was good, but not worth the wait. I have driven by a couple of time in the last few weeks, and its been dead. Friday nite at 8pm and the place was empty, not one person in there so we skipped it. They are byob. there is a wine shop next door, and many bodegas to get beer at.....
