Well, gave it my best shot....but too many TV crews for Hairspray premiere! When I get there I will give a review!

Better late than never. I stopped by Sofi's yesterday and ordered the Kevin Bacon crepe...it has cheddar, bacon, turkey, tomatoes and thousand island dressing...quite tasty! However, I did get it to go, and it didn't transport well...by the time I got home it was rather soggy...but I enjoyed it anyway. Then this morning, the bloom came off the rose. I checked my online bank statement, and found they had charged me $10.08 for the $8.40 crepe! A simple mistake I'm sure, but it was before the lunch rush and she had no one to wait on but me. Won't stop me from going back, but I will check what I'm signing more carefully!

What is it near on Charles? Cross streets or other restaurant naming would help. Thanks.

I'm bummed, I was hoping it was closer to the harbor so we could walk at lunch time.

Theyre opening a second branch in the Women's Industrial Exchange, which is a bit closer to the Harbor. Not sure if its reasonable at lunch for you.

That will be much better. When are they going to open?

I prefer the dessert crepes, when strawberries are in season they have strawberry and nutella crepes, which are soooo good. Otherwise the banana/nutella or peanut butter/chocolate are delicious.

Sofi's is my ultimate guilty pleasure and favorite movie food (sneak it into the Charles with lots of napkins). I like sweet things so I always go for the Nutty Banana (banana and nutella). I tried the savory crepes years ago when they first opened. I think I had the one with turkey, cranberry sauce and pesto mayo. Fellow chowhounds are right about the timing...eat it right away to avoid sogginess from steaming.

It is very small but cozy and has 2 tables outside. There was a nice crowd but not over crowded. I loved you were able to sit down and watch your crepe being made

I had the The Kevin Bacon: Turkey, Bacon, Cheese, & Tomatoes with 1000 Island Sauce $8. It was very good and very savory. My friend had the The Godfather: Pepperoni, Mozzarella, Salami, Roasted Red Peppers, & Spinach $8 and she said it was perfect and very good.

I haven't tried the location by the Charles Theater but would like to. I also would love to go back and try some of the sweet crepes!
