food is excellent-fresh, tasty, and novel.My big compliant-the service is so sloooooow.
My family and I were there recently and there were only two other tables taken-with about 6 people total, besides us.the food took a very long time to be served. not because it was complicated to make, but because the staff was busy with takeout orders. I could see the kitchen from my seat. Numerous trips were made to the front of the store with take out packages. I joked to my spouse-I should call in the food , pick it up at the front, and bring it to our table. It was so obvious that take out was their focus-it it was ridiculous. We continue to patronize them because the quality of the food is one of the best in the area.if you dine there, be prepared to wait a long time.

I despise Sushi, but my daughter loves it. She is always going to Brooklyn to a place called Tea for Two. She claims that they make one of the best Sushi around. Rumor has it that they may be opening a branch in the 5 Towns. If it is as good as they say, this may help with SM's backlog. One then can go to Bistro Grill in Woodmere for exceptional steaks and Tea for Two for Sushi and fish/pastas. Isn’t competition grand!

As a result of the wait at SM for a take out order, I'd suggest ordering from home or the road and give yourself the to get there while your food is being prepared.

I agree as well - food is awsome that's why we wait...but FYI I've waited forever for takeout there too.

I love Sushi M. myself. I know that they make things fresh, but it should not take half an hour to get a wrap considering that the vegetables are pre cut. If the food wasn't so good, I would go somewhere else.
