I got an e-mail regarding this, but I don't see it on their web-site.

I don't work there, just thought some of you might be interested.

It has six courses.

Fist is on their deck, I never knew they had one.

Last time I ate there was this past march for our anniversary.

Monday, August 6, 2008, 6:30 p.m. at The Mile Away
52 Federal Hill Rd., Milford, NH
$65.00 pp (tax and tip included)
Call 673-3904 for reservations

I hope it is okay to post this. If not, I'm sure I'll find out.

I'll post the wines if you have a question.
Unfortunately, I"m recovering from a bad fall, and with a bit of a head trauma still remaining, alcohol is off limits for a while.

Would love to hear comments from anyone that decides to attend.

For those Hounds who have never been, Mile Away is in a bucolic setting on the rise of a hill. Not very far from busy Rt. 101, but it does, indeed, seem to be miles & miles away from it all. http://www.mileawayrestaurant.com/

          Mr. H -

Thanks for the link (again, the best navigator!) .. heading up that way tomorrow for the Fitzwilliam Antiques Show. Will check it out on the way back home... always am interested in a destination!

What a beautiful place.....Never knew that it existed.

Understand Lilibet, I haven't eaten there in years so I can't weigh-in on that score. Also, depending on what time of day you get there and what you're driving, it's a nice scenic drive to follow Federal Hill Rd.all the way down to Silver Lake where it meets Rt.122 (Silver Lake Rd.). It does turn into a good dirt road eventually, hence the vehicle reference.

Libbet, if you do want to try them, I'd call first to see if you can be seated .

I have never gotten in without a reservation in all the years I have tried.

If you do stop in hope you have a good experience.
