I was just in Stratford last Friday and went to Down the Street for lunch. I had read good reviews on it on other forums so we decided to check it out. It has a nice artsy feel to the place and the service was great. For two of us, we split two appetizers and a main. The appetizers were fries with aioli which were really good because the fries were crisp and peppery, although we could have used more aioli. The other appetizer was a plate of organic pita bread with a cucumber yogurt dip and sun-dried tomato dip, with a few olives on a bed of arugula. The main we chose was a thin crust pizza with chorizo sausage, roasted red pepper, arugula, and feta cheese. It was a nicely balanced lunch and enough for two people. And it's a quick 5 minute walk from the Avon Theatre. Hope that helps!
