Look out, fans of Best Szechuan (Jia Wei in Chinese) in Monterey Park. The original management team sold their old location and opened a new restaurant in Cerritos/Artesia. Here's the address: 11700 South Street, Artesia. Phone:[phone]. It's located in the same plaza as Tea Station. I looked at their menu and they still have the signiture Golden Crab/Lobster - the best in town and the usual szechuan dishes. Great stuff. Can't wait to go back. Finally I can end my six-month long search.

I loved the place when it was Best Szechuan, but it did not make a good transition. They have the same woman running the place, she even recognized as an old customer, but the chef must be different because in the past I rated the food on 1-10 scale between 7-9 on most dishes and now I rate 3-5 on the dishes that I tried. They even charge $5 for a pot of tea. The place is much larger and nicer looking than the old place. The food was bland for Szechuan cooking. I really looking forward to eating food like I had in the past at Best Szechuan.
