I've eaten there once, and I remember seeing a lot of menu items. I remember thinking to myself that unless they have a huge kitchen staff, there's no way they can produce all of those items. Does anyone have the inside scoop on MoMo's? Are they buying frozen stuff and just sprucing it up or what?
After reading the linked Slate article, I came to accept that unless a restaurant states extremely clearly their sourcing policy (local, sustainable), its likely to be highly Sysco-ized.
Every Bite You TakeHow Sysco came to monopolize most of what you eat.
I do think that Momo's menu is big for SF standards but not as huge as the typical Middle America emporium. http://sfmomos.com/index.htm

I've eaten there plenty of times before Giant's games, but I don't remember the menu being that large. The food always seems to be decent, which is more than I can say about the lousy service. As for any of the food being frozen, I don't think that is the case. Just my .02 cents....
