Valet @ Abbicci
Do not let the "Valet" @ Abbicci park your car. Upon a recent vist (7/7/07) this is what occured.
Arrival, no problem. Tapas menu ok. out of a lot of items.
This poster does not care if the car was a S---box or a R.R. as to what happened at the end of the night.
It was rather late and two of the wait staff were leaving also. Upon exiting, no valet was to be found. The wait staff went back inside, to try and find the keys or the valet. I could see my car in the lot. No luck by the staff in finding either. They (both a male & female) were getting a little dissapointed with their valet at this point, as well as myself. At this point I walked over to my car and guess what I found? The key was in the drivers side door. On top of that, the drivers side window was down. The two wait staff were just as pissed as I was at his point. They took me back inside to try "and make things right". This is when is gets good. Upon re-entering the building the valet "re-appeared". He stated that it was policy not to touch the windows and to leave the keys in the door. So I guess if it rains and you left the windows down when you went in it's tough s---. It also must be ok if a person walks onto the lot and takes the keys from the door and puts them in the ignition . At this point "Mario" the manager steps in ,in deffense of the the valet and puts his two wait staff in a very uncomfortable position. 6 days later no phone call as to how they might correct this problem. The customer is always right, wrong. Park your own car & take your keys.

We went to A's last winter. The valet was very busy with 3 cars arriving at once. The lot is narrow and small so we were STUCK on 6A waiting to get into the driveway...it was a dangerous scene. We were all holding up traffic as well. We were not allowed to drive in and park our own car. Really, what is the point of valet service when there is a lot?? Give me a break.
