Lunch near the Barnes Foundation

Looking for someplace quick but good to have lunch before visiting the Barnes Foundation on Friday. Prefer Mediterranean or "whole foods" kind of place, though open to other suggestions.

If Ardmore/Wynnewood are close enough, consider Sang Kee, Alex Long, Khajuraho.

Aldar is Mediterranean and is good for lunch.
Also the Tavern next door is just fine for lunch.
Then there is Murrays Deli two doors up.
These are your closest places to Barnes and all are fine for your needs.

Aldar in Merion has some Mediterranean. It's right around the corner from the Barnes on Montgomery Ave.

AlDar Bistro on Montgomery Ave in Bala Cynwyd is good Mid East/Greek/Turkish.

There is also a market-type place not far from that area, but for the life of me I cannot rememeber the name.

while not exactly RIGHT near the Barnes, whenever i'm home I like visiting de jour market for a relaxing bite.

everyone can find something, there's parking and i've never had anything bad. the turkey club was really good, and so was the pizza.

There is nothing good in Merion. Go to Manayunk and try Jake's or Le Bus.
