JCT - Atlanta

Hi all - We just went to JCT in Atlanta on Friday and I thought I'd give some thoughts. Overall, it was pretty good. The bread and butter was pretty incredible... maybe I don't eat enough real butter, but it was the best I've had in a long time!
The downside, however, is that they must know they've got great butter - because they overuse it in everything. My scallops & potato dumplings were great, but drowning in butter. My husband's roasted chicken with sauteed potatoes were great, but drowning in butter. My friend's shrimp and grits were great, but drowning in butter.

So - give it a go, it was very tasty, just nothing spectacular to us. The view of Midtown from the upstairs bar, however, is great - good atmosphere.

I've been for lunch and dinner and didn't experience the butter drowning.
I really like it there, had some delicious food, and sitting outside on a not so hot night is great. It's amazing to me how the the room was transformed so beautifully from Commune.
