Restaurant near (NOT IN) SeaTac

Our last night in the Seattle area we'll stay near the airport because of an early flight. Any suggestions on good restaurants somewhere near that line of hotels? We especially enjoy the good seafood and produce in the area. We'd like to keep the bill to about $150 for two with wine. Thanks in advance! Laura from Alabama

hi there .. one of my favorite Thai restaurants is down near Sea-Tac ..It's on 99 just north of the airport a bit on the west side of the street in a space that once housed one of those burger places where they come to you car ..I can't remember it's name but the building makes it very distinctive ... I've had no luck with any thing that tries to be upscale or local near the airport .. but perhaps there is something new

You're talking about Bai Tong, I think, but they've moved. They're now located on Southcenter Parkway in Tukwila--still relatively near the airport, but not on the hotel strip anymore.

Some of my favorite casual restaurants are in Burien, a short cab ride from the airport--La Costa (Mexican), King Wha (Chinese), Elliott Bay Brewhouse (brewpub), Teak House (Thai--actually in Normandy Park, but it's still close). It sounds like you're looking for something a little more upscale, though--wish I could suggest something in the area, but I can't.
