Sushi grade fish in the northern Va Area?

I'd like to make my own sushi, but want to make sure I get good quality fish, any suggestions?

Super H Mart in Fairfax has a pretty good selection.

Hmmm.....interesting problem. Most of the sashimi grade is snatched up by the sushi restaurants.

I don't know where you are located, but if I were in your shoes, I would definitely find my best local fish monger and develop a first-name relationship. I live in Springfield and I can do special ordering at Springfield Seafood whenever I want to do my own. Of course, it pays to show up often enough to develop that relationship, even if you're only buying a can of Old Bay, and then you might get the occasional phone call when the fish monger spots something especially nice.
