I'm craving one in this heat, and would love one. Except that I don't want to travel all the way to chinatown. Midtown west/hell's kitchen if possible. Thanks for your recs in advance.

I had bubble tea once at Hing Won - I think it's at 58th bet 5th and 6th. Otherwise, the Chinese lunch spots/bakeries on 38th bet 7th and 8th and on 35th should have it.

Thanks. But I thought Hing Won was on 48th street?

I think Pearl on the Sushi has bubble teas, they are on 9th, around 46th.

If you’re hankering for a bubble tea in Midtown, “Tease” located on 3rd Ave between 27th & 28th is a must! The quality is superb, and I’ve tried several places in Manhattan. I love their coconut milk bubble tea as well as their $2.50 specials which vary by the week.

In case you don't think Koreatown is too far... I think Koryodang in Koreatown has bubble tea. The location is 31 West 32nd Street. I have not ordered bubble tea there before but I think it's a popular Korean Bakery/Cafe. (From what I remember their stuff was just OK but it's there for you to try in case you are curious and don't want to travel all the way to Chinatown). Here is their website.
