PROVENCE - SOHO

Thinking about dining at the recently re-opened Provence in Soho for my wedding anniversary Friday night....would love any feedback and also recommendations for drinks afterwards!!!! Thanks!!!!!

    I second Gascogne. Very romantic garden, amazing food, excellent, low-key service.

      one thing to consider would be the proximity to bastille day. prob not an issue since it's the day before, but in years past it's at least been a loud party on bastille day... with the street outside provence converted to a petanque court, live band, drunk french people singing... fun, but perhaps not a romantic anniversary option.

        When Bastille Day falls on Saturday, the partying usually starts on Friday night at the latest!

        Have no idea about the reopening, but my last experience in the old location (admittedly about 7+ years ago) was so horrendous that there is no way i could return...

            have not heard good things about the food since the reopening / new owners.

            If you're looking for a romantic garden with good food, I'd recommend Gascogne on 8th at 18th.
