Malatesta

Going to Malatesta Sat. night - been before but never had desert there. Celebrating an occasion - so want something special - anything good there? If not, can you recommend a place nearby where we can go for just desert - and what to have? Thanks!

There was a question in the other thread about whether Malatesta has air conditioning. I, too, am interested in dining there. But all I can get from the earlier thread was the al fresco ambiance. The current 90 degree humid weather that we've been having doesn't qualify as al fresco.

    So is there AC?

I don't recall it being air contioned-- but don't hold me to it. I believe that have big open doors and ceiling fans.

        Thanks.
If you are right, then we'll just have to wait for milder weather.

I really like the tiramisu at Malatesta. I know that every restaurant still serves it, but Malatesta's is actually worth ordering.
