We have been several times and have been pleasantly amazed at the delicious food at this place. Everything is fresh and imaginative and colorful and tasty. We were just there this past weekend: I had ana mazing braised pesto stuffed pork shop, and she had a herbed crusted stripper special.

We only get into the area one or twice a year, and the trip here is one of the highlights. Do yourself a favor: Giovanni, the owner, likes to walk the floor and chat with the diners. Ask him whats good: he'll tell you -- his recommendations have been spot on every time.

Never heard of it, when I want great Italian in Concord I go to Angelina's. But oh oh, I just looked and it's the same address as this Giovanni's - how can that be when it says since 2005, hmmmmmm.

Both restaurants are in the same building, but are, I believe, separate establishments. In and earlier incarnation the two restaurants did share a kitchen.
