      <content>Carrie's suggestion is a pretty good one, I would personally lean towards a Rose... Domaine Tempier Bandol... fairly fruity should pair well.

      <content>A white rhone varietal (especially rousanne and/or marsanne) is a good selection. The trouble is you may not be able to find a good one, depending on your short-notice access to a well stocked wineshop.

On the other hand, riesling is abundant and I might actually prefer it for this meal.</content>
