        <content>New Orleans cabs are often said to be "cheap" How cheap is the fare, for two people, one way, from the Hotel Monteleone to Brigtsen's? Or, Commander's Palace? Or, Delmonico? Or, Mandina's? Tahnk you.</content>

      <content>Brigtsen's is by far the farthest of those you listed, and should be between $15-20 (20 minute trip, if they take St. Charles).  Delmonico or Mandina's should be right around 10, and Commanders would be right above 10.  Mandina's is right on the Canal St. streetcar line. 

I should say I haven't taken a cab very recently, but I live pretty close to Brigtsen's, and a cab from the quarter home was always under $20. Tell them to take Claiborne, it's a lot shorter.  But not at all scenic. </content>
