It's been a couple years but we used to visit family in Marquand, Missouri (not far from Farmington) and we'd eat at Sitze's Cafe on the town square. It was basically the ONLY restaurant in town. It was a diner but they had all homemade foods- fried catfish on the weekends and on Friday nights. Daily specials, delicious desserts, etc. There are tons of chain places in Farmington so if all else fails, you won't starve.
