Elaine's Table, Hunt TX
I wonder if any of you have wandered as far as Hunt, about 12 milles outside of Kerrville for something to eat. Will try it next time I am down there and report. Will post this on the SA,TX board as well.

Have eaten there a few times. It's pretty good, but I think it seems better than it really is because it's where you wouldn't necessarily expect to find a nice restaurant. They do a good job with trout and steaks. The carrot cake is the star of the show. Be sure to reserve a piece when they take your order so they don't run out.
