Can you use taco seasoning for fajitas?

I thought I had fajita dice. Can I use taco seasoning instead?

  1. Of course! why not? unless you're making some authentic fajitas for a restaurant... If you're cooking for yourself, use whatever you want!
Or did I totally misunderstood the question....

    1. hmmm. i'm not sure what the difference would be. mostly those things are you have dried cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper, garlic?

      1. I'd avoid the seasoning packet and just use some lime juice whisked with canola oil, 2 parts chili powder, 1 part cumin, 1/4 - 1/2 part cayenne, and some minced garlic, and salt and pepper. Marinate your meat in this mixture.

        1. I used the packet...dinner couldnt wait...BUT the make your own seasoning recipes are awesome...Thanks!
