ciaogal Jul 8, 2007 01:27 PM

Just had Dim Sum @ the newly remodeled Jade Palace on Shea and 92nd Street. It was wonderful. The restaurant was busy @ 11:30 am on Sunday. We had a Variety of items....
Char Siu Bao, Cheung fun (rice noodles w/ roast pork), Fung Jeow (Braised Chicken Feet),
Har Gau, Lo Mai Gai (sticky rice), Sui Mai, Clams w/ Black Bean sauce, salt and pepper shrinp, steamed ribs w/ black bean, noodles, greens...etc.
We wanted to eat more but were stuffed to the gills......Everything was served steaming and hot.
It was all wonderful.....will definitely be back in the near future!

If you are in the Shea/101 area on a Sunday morning.....Head to Jade Palace!

They do use carts....unfortunately Jade Palace on Shea is much smaller than Golden Buddah and C-Fu Gourmet......
It's dim sum on a more intimate scale.

They also have the waiters carrying trays of items piping hot from the kitchen.....
If you don't see what you are asking for just ask they are very happy to accomodate...I didn't see the steamed spareribs w/ black bean and garlic...within a minute...they were brought to the table steaming, hot and delicious.

The prices are comparable to the other dim sum houses.....

Excellent. Thanks for the update. I like Jade Palace as a decent Chinese restaurant, and I'll definately have to try the dim sum. Now if only they would start delivering again...
