Dessert bar at one girl cookie

What a nice idea....we dropped by last night having seen the sign in their window about their new weekend 'desset bar'. They have about 5 or 6 different desserts to choose from, most served with a scoop of gelato.

I had a really tasty and light cherry tart (perfectly light for the hot weather) with almond gelato and husband had a nice light chocolate treat (some sort of warm chocolate cake, again w/ gelato).

I've often been out for dinner in the area w/ friends and wished there was a good option post dinner for coffee and dessert. Sweet Melissa is usually packed, so this is a nice alternative.

I happened to walk in the first night they tried this, I agree, It's great! I had the woopie pie trio and it was fantastic. They said they applied for a liquor license and will start serving wine soon as well.
