It's like all the other M&S in the world.

I don't think they have valet parking -- it's in a place with a reasonably large parking lot across from Santa Ana Mainplace. Is it actually in Santa Ana? I know Orange comes sneaking in right near there.

I've had differing experiences at different M&S locations. The best was at Beverly Hills (VG), followed by Downtown (G), with El Segundo at the bottom (F).

I've had good experiances at the Irvine M & S so I'm curious about this new, closer to me location. M & S should be better than King's Fish House.

we went a couple of weeks ago for happy hour. It was a friday and the place was practically deserted. We ordered the ahi rolls which had no ahi in them and the spinach dip. The dip was ok but the chips were very stale. The ahi roll came out immediately after we ordered and tasted like it had been under a heat lamp for a few hours.... maybe the food was off because they just opened but I won't be returning any time soon. My friend had the burger and fries which she ordered medium rare. It came out well done. Portions were large for the great price though.

i'd throw caution to the wind and go for happy hour. if the particular location has still not worked out the "newness" kinks, you will be out very lil moola. =)
