LAST MINUTE BREAKFAST REC NEEDED!

A friend of mine is in from MN and the only time she has available is 9am tomorrow morning (sunday). I need a place where we can sit, have a good breakfast, and just catch up. Nothing too complicated, nothing too expensive, I just want something cozy, with good food where we won't be rushed or hassled. Location isn't a problem as long as it's in manhattan and please, nothing too fancy, I don't care spending a bit of cash but I don't really want to have to get dressed up or anything.

    good enough to eat on 83/amsterdam is terrific

      Penelope, on the corner of Lex & 30th St., is a charming little spot with very good food. I believe Sunday brunch starts at 8 a.m.

        Hi There,
        I am new to the city ( about 3 months) and had looked all over for a decent breakfast place.....and finally I have a great place to recommend..... EJ's on 73rd/3rd. I think you'll like it ..It can get busy , as the food is good.It's got a retro diner feel. Hope this helps
