Atlanta (heartsfield) Airport- anything good out there?

Couldn't get a room downtown, so I'm spending the next 10 nights at a hotel near the airport- are there any CH worthy bars or restaurants out that way? Also, is alcohol sold on Sunday there? Thanks in advance!

Manchester Arms in College Park, right up the road from the airport is a good pub scene.
The Pecan on Main St. in College Park...southern fare, fairly new restaurant. I've been for lunch and it was really good.
Noodle on Main St. College Park serves pretty good Thai/Chinese. Serves beer and wine.
The Tasting Room is very close to the airport (drive or cab I mean), and I would give it a try if I were in town and staying in the hood. Haven't been myself though yet.

There's a really good greek place (name escapes me even though I drive by there a lot) in Hapeville right by the airport on Virginia Ave. Looks like a dive but the food is great. Grecian something...Across the street is Willy's for really good burritos (chain) and a Johnny's Pizza which serves pretty good pizza, sanwiches and salads.

You could try The Feed Store in College Park, but I've been there twice and just don't like it. Others think it's good.

BBQ Kitchen on Virginia Ave in College Park is a good meat and three (plus BBQ). It's been a few years, so I don't even know if it's still around, but The Chicken House had very good real Mexican. There's also The Brake Pad, which is more of a bar.

As for alcohol, there are no off-premise sales on Sunday. But you can order a drink in bars and restaurants.

Your best bet might be to catch MARTA or otherwise head N to eat intown at least a couple of times. Lots of suggestions for intown eating on the board.
