Sushi, Seafood & Comfort Food

My wife & I will be visiting the beautiful city of New Orleans July 14th through the 17th. We are staying at the W French Quarter with no car. We would prefer recs inside the city limits, if not walking, than an easy cab ride. We have three favorites styles of food, hence the name of the post. We prefer quality vs. "trendiness", casual & fun vs. formal.
Sushi : all about the raw cuts, not big fans of rolls
Seafood : Good quality, good options without flare.
Comfort Food: A place with great upscale burgers, awesome salads, steaks, seafood, etc.
Sort of the corner bistro that does fresh everything!

My favorite sushi place is Horinoya, on Poydras, which will be maybe 3/4 of a mile from your hotel. Fresh and authentic.

Just about every restaurant has a few good seafood options on the menu, but GW Finns specializes in it. I haven't been, but it's high on my list to try.
