Bumper crop of kumquats...

My neighbor has a bumper crop of kumquats and since she's older and not so mobile, I volunteered to take all the fruit off her tree... I'm very noble that way. But I'm going to have a ton of kumquats on my hands. What do you suggest making with these kumquats? I'm willing to candy or preserve them, if that's an option.

If you goole kumkuat recipes you will get a bunch of recipes. One recipe from the kumquat growers assoc. was a pie like key lime but with kumquats. There was an interesting looking cake feature at their site too.

I've had very good kumquat jam/jelly in the past. Unfortunately though, I don't have a tried and true recipe as I always ate others' products.
